A DBMS Lab assignment should be presented in a systematic, clear, and technically accurate manner so that both the theoretical understanding and practical implementation of database concepts can be demonstrated. The presentation should generally begin with the statement of the problem and proceed through database design, implementation, queries, outputs, and interpretation. Since the assignment carries substantial marks and also includes viva voce, every step should be supported by proper reasoning and practical examples. The first step is to clearly understand the problem and identify the data requirements. The entities, attributes, relationships, and constraints involved in the problem should be identified before creating the database. For example, in a college database, entities may include STUDENT, COURSE, FACULTY, and DEPARTMENT. Important attributes such as Student_ID, Student_Name, Course_ID, Course_Name, and Department_ID can be identified. Primary keys and foreign keys should be selected appropriately to maintain uniqueness and relationships among tables. The database can then be represented using an Entity-Relationship (ER) model. An ER diagram provides a graphical representation of entities and their relationships. ```text DEPARTMENT
