In industrial safety activities, effective communication is essential because even a small misunderstanding can result in unsafe actions, panic, delays, injuries, or damage to equipment. During a safety drill, the supervisor generally acts as the sender who provides instructions to workers, while the workers act as receivers who interpret and respond to those instructions. The communication process involves several interconnected elements: sender, message, encoding, communication channel, receiver, decoding, feedback, noise, and context. The process begins with the sender, who has specific information that must be communicated.
