Payment has been deducted from Credit Card/Debit Card/ my account but I have not received any confirmation. What should I do?

Here are the steps you should take if payment was deducted but you did not receive any confirmation:
1. Check your bank statement to confirm that the payment was actually deducted. Note down the transaction reference number/control number given by the bank.
2. Collect other relevant details like your registration number (if any with IGNOU), name, opted programme, mobile number and amount paid.
3. Email these details to IGNOU at csrc@ignou.ac.in. Mention clearly in the email that payment was deducted but you did not receive any confirmation.
4. Wait for 2-3 working days for a response. If you still do not receive any response or acknowledgement, send a reminder email.
5. If there is still no response after the second email, you can escalate the issue by submitting a grievance on IGNOU's iGRAM portal: [http://igram.ignou.ac.in/. ↗](http://igram.ignou.ac.in/.) You will need to provide the same details in your grievance.
6. You can also call IGNOU's Centralized Registration Cell at 011-29571301 or 011-29571528 for assistance. Explain your issue and mention the details you have collected.
7. If required, escalate the issue further by contacting higher officials in IGNOU and politely requesting them to look into your matter.
