Important Update - Last date for IGNOU January 2024 Session Re-registration extended till 15th February 2024
IGNOU has extended the last date for re-registration for programmes offered in ODL/Online mode for the January 2024 session. Students can now submit their re-registration forms online till 15th February 2024 without any late fees.
The online re-registration process for the January 2024 session started from 5th December 2023. As per the earlier notification, the last date for re-registration without any late fee was 29th January 2024.
However, considering requests from students, IGNOU has now extended the last date for submission of online re-registration forms to 15th February 2024. Students can visit the official re-registration portal - https://onlinerr.ignou.ac.in/ to fill and submit their re-registration forms online during this extended period.
No late fee will be applicable for registrations done till 15th February 2024. From 16th February 2024 onwards, students submitting their forms will have to pay a late fee of Rs. 1000 along with the programme fee. The portal will remain open for re-registrations with late fee till 28th February 2024.
Here are the basic steps to submit your IGNOU January 2024 session re-registration form online via the official portal:
Visit https://onlinerr.ignou.ac.in/ and login using your enrollment number and password. Or register on the portal if new user.
Choose your program, courses and fill other details in the re-registration form carefully.
Review and confirm your course details before submitting the form.
You can opt to make online fee payment via various modes like debit/credit cards, net banking, UPI etc.
Take a print out of the submitted form and payment receipt for your records.

As per the extended schedule, students can submit their online re-registration forms from 16th February 2024 onwards with a late fee.
The late fee amount that has to be paid along with the normal program fee is Rs. 1000.
This late fee is applicable for all re-registration forms submitted between 16th February to 28th February 2024.
The late fee is a one-time payment and non-refundable, irrespective of the date of late submission within this period.
